RITUAL COMMITTEE AND COMPETITION
2008-2009

We will be having individual ritual competitions held at
Volleyball weekend this year!!!!

The ritual competition guideline is as follows:

Ages 10-13

Choice of 1 station and duty part ,   or
One messenger part of the story of Job ( Initiation work ), or
Story of Job  ( all 5 messengers initiation work )

Ages 14-16

One messenger part of the Story of Job ( Initiation work ), or
Story of Job  ( all 5 messengers initiation work )

Ages 17-20

One messenger part of the Story of Job ( Initiation work ), or
Story of Job ( all 5 messengers initiation work )

Registration Form - Deadline DECEMBER 15, 2008

WRITTEN RITUAL TEST

Consisting of about 20 questions for each daughter in your Bethel to take.  Awards will be determined on highest Bethel scores.  Results will be given at our Annual session.  Tests will be sent by mail to each Bethel by February 2009 for completion and must be returned by April 2009.  If your Bethel only has a few daughters, please complete the test, because scores are on a percentage basis, not quantity basis.

BETHEL ROOM SET-UP COMPETITION!!

Three girls from each Bethel wishing to compete in this competition at our annual session will be asked to prepare a Bethel room for a regular meeting.  Scores will be based on accuracy and how quickly the job is done.   This competition will be the same as last year.  Study your ritual on the Bethel room set.  Team will have a meeting prior to competition at Grand Session.  Teams will receive a list of what paraphernalia is going to be used and what stations are going to be set up at that meeting.

TRAVELING QUESTION JAR!!

The ritual committee would like to promote ritual awareness throughout the year by having a question and answer session while the Grand officers travel to each Bethel.  A jar with questions will be traveling to each Bethel for their official visits and each daughter attending that meeting will be given the opportunity to ask ANY state officer (Grand Guardian, Grand Secretary, Miss Job’s Daughter, etc ) a question pulled from the jar.  The jar will be filled with questions to be asked and for those Bethels that have a full floor, that’s a lot questions.  So state officers….study up!
